i am lucky to have my best friends who live all over the world.
i miss them almost every second, but despite the distance
i know they're just a heartbeat away.
even if the stars refuse to shine,
even if the world refuses to spin,
no matter the consequences and results
i know they'll be here regardless.
even if the world is going to come to an end
even if it looks like there's going to be no way out
i know everything will be alright.
with them, i know we'll pull through and be okay.

so much has happened. so much has changed.
and yet, the world doesn't wait for us to catch up with it
it just expects us to change with it.
